Abstract
This study examines the role of stress in the performance of Momo Data promoters at MTN Côte d’Ivoire. It is based on the hypothesis that the variation in the performance of MTN Côte d’Ivoire promoters depends on their stress levels. It involves a sample of 302 promoters from the MTN network. The on-site sampling method was used to select the promoters who completed the questionnaire. The data obtained were processed processed using SPSS software. The statistical technique used was the student’s T-test for independent samples. Fanally, the results show that promoters who are less stressed at work perform better than their monologues, who are more stressed. These results are interpreted in light of Lazarus’s theory of stress. They complement the discussions conducted on the relationship between stress and emplyee performance. Keywords: stress, employee performance, promoter and MTN Côte d’Ivoire
