Defined as an emotional state, emotion regulates the life of each
person: Astonishment, joy, fear, disgust and anger stand by
anyone. To be confronted with emotions face to students by
teaching a foreign language is a constant for German teachers.
Working at secodary schools , they provid an european language
which is subject to several stereotypes. In fact, German is a
cognitive and conative challenge for learners who find it
difficult and who are not natives. Those have each a learning
style for German skills. This context exposes the teachers to
several (positive and negative) emotions face to learners. Their
failures and successes do not let the teacher indifferent. Through
this article, we explore the origin of emotions of German teachers
and their impact in pedagogic acts. We start with the hypothesis
that the nature of the teacher's emotions determines the degree of
motivation of the learners. In order to lead this study, we
explore a sample of 25 German teachers from secondary schools. We
use theoretical models of origin of emotions (Scherer) permitting
to understand this psychological phenomenon in an academic
environment. Keywords: emotions, skills ,teachers,learners,
,cognition,conation, communication.
